All My Work Accessible In One Place
CUSTOMIZED BRACKET FOR 15RU RACK
This is in a multi-storey carpark. We had to install a wall-mount rack in every storey to house some network equipment. In order to meet the minimum height clearance, we had to improvised mounting brackets to secure the rack. All the network cables for the HIKVISION CCTV and Wifi were laid to this rack. The network cables we used were from COMMSCOPE CAT6 UTP 23AWG Twisted Pairs.
FIBER SPLICING
The client expanded their operation and rent another office in the same building, Raffles One, but at a different storey. In order to link their network system together, we laid an Indoor 6 Core Multi-Mode OM3 50/125 LSZH Fiber Optic Cable from 22nd Storey to 29th Storey. Skycom Splicing machine was easy to use and the Splicing speed was fast.
65" LCD SCREEN INSTALLATION
Before installation of the Samsung 65" LCD Screen, we have to ensure the drywall is reinforced with a wooden board in order to withstand the 23Kg Samsung 65" LCD Screen and the 9.5Kg push-in pop-out video wall mounting bracket. Measurements have to be accurate so that the screen will sit nicely in the middle and flush into the wall.
FIBER CABLE LAYING
For this project, we laid a few km of Indoor/outdoor fiber optic cables. The area was huge, We used COMMSCOPE Indoor 6 Core Multi-Mode OM3 50/125 LSZH fiber optic cables for links between different levels. The cable containment in the warehouse was about 7m high. We had to use a battery-operated scissor lift to access it. For the outdoor link between buildings, we have to lay through the sheltered walkway with metal conduit to protect the fiber optic cables. We used COMMSCOPE Outdoor 12-Core Armoured Single-Mode 9/125 OS2 Fiber Optic Cable for these inter-building links.
AUDIO CABLES LAYING
Setting up Audio System in a fitness center to provide background music for the members who are training in the center. Music can be played from an electronic device like handphone, Ipad or laptop, connected to an amplifier. The owner can also choose to go for a wireless speaker system but need to make sure that the wireless router is located at a position where the wireless speakers system can receive strong signal strength.
HOME SECURITY ALARM SYSTEM
This is a 5 storey terrace house. The owner wanted to enhance the existing security system. Our consultant did a site walk with the owner and identity the laps in the existing system. We wired up additional 5 zones, 20 contact points to cover up those areas which our consultant identify as a potential danger of intrusion.
MOE DATA CENTRE - RACK TO RACK INTER LINK
While working on this project, I was very strict about the materials and footprint of my work. My client was interested in an economically and environmentally sustainable outcome, and I did everything to respect these wishes throughout the whole process in order to make sure they were satisfied with the outcome.
ST AEROSPACE - CAT6 UTP NETWORK CABLES REFRESH
For this particular project, we replaced existing data points that are still using the CAT5 UTP cabling system to the new CAT6 UTP cabling system. These include replacing the existing 24-Port CAT6 UTP patch panel, faceplate, and modular jack. We had to go through various compliance measures to make sure our work followed stringent industry standards. This was completed on time and within budget. It’s a great example of our dedication to deliver quality service and see it through from start to finish despite complications in order to ensure full client satisfaction.
